A public adjuster is an experienced claims professional who is licensed by Michigan’s Insurance Commissioner to act on behalf of the public or the Insured as stipulated in the insurance policy. The insured is usually a Home or Business owner. The public adjuster acts strictly on behalf of the Insured. Other professionals will be utilized as needed in supporting, documenting and defending your claim. You will be aware of the progress of the claims handling and will be encouraged to review and approve the Public Adjuster’s work.
